I've always loved babasushi, now picking it up before work gives a highlight. their Rock and Roll Maki Roll is a favorite learned from a friend. Shrimp Tempura Maki Roll is also a delight. As always like having a light crisp one whether the Spicy Salmon Maki Roll or the Spicy Tuna Maki Roll. just really cannot go wrong with their sushi, and instantly improves the day. 

Their hostess who hands off the food as well for pickup orders is friendly, and fast. perfect for a treat, but also still getting to work on time.

I love Baba and will certainly be going back or picking up myself again... wouldn't necessarily recommend ordering via door dash though. The order arrived quick and complete, but the handling seemed... off. One of the bags that should have been kept horizontal was delivered vertically, sliding $60 worth of sushi down into a mushy, wet mess at the bottom of the container. Additionally, while for most orders I appreciate the use of a hot bag, sushi is not one of them. I also had two miso soups in the order (which the restaurant packaged in a separate bag), and it seemed like both food bags were stuffed into the same 'hot bag' - leaving the sushi to pick up the ambient heat from the soup. So it was not only a mushed mess, but a way-too-warm-for-sushi mushed mess. The flavors were still great, but for the amount of money spent I felt like a little more awareness on the driver's part (keeping the sushi bag horizontal and out of the warming bag) would have left a much better experience.

So disappointed this time. The crunchy maki was ok but the volcano maki had not one piece of scallop and the avocado old, slimy, and squishy. It ruined the entire thing. Then the spider maki had hard crab shell all through it. It's supposed to be softshell  crab but it was inedible be it felt like eating unpeeled shrimp. Plus again the avacdo was old and gross and if icould have eaten the roll it would have ruined the mouthfeel of that one too. Picture is of the hard pie through the roll also only had 5 pieces which is disappointing when sharing and every other roll has 6.

Always excellent.  Those oyster shooters are out of this world.  Everything is excellent.  Great in person or through delivery.  Highly recommend!

I usually love baba sushi, but the Celtic Maki Roll was really disappointing. The spicy tuna tasted almost rotten. Hoping it was a one off.
