This is elite level comfort/soul food. I've been working my way through the menu and I haven't had one thing that I didn't want more of.
Portions are excellent. Flavor is phenomenal. The $12 deal meals are so far and above fast food in quality that it's hard to justify more on a highly processed burger.
It's slightly imperfect in a way that means it was made from real food, in a real kitchen. Like maybe a tiny bone here and there or a wing that hasn't been fully smoothed. The Mac is creamy. The yams are balanced. The wings are huge.
Oh and the drinks are solid. I've been trying to leave those alone though or I'd be a menace to society.

The Catfish was tried and seasoned to perfection! It was my first time trying and I definitely will be back! It was fresh, the portions were big and they're affordable

The Oxtail Pasta (Lunch) was super delicious. But I'm not sure if it's bc I've ate lots of Gumbo from Louisiana but this one was terrible. There was two thin slices of sausage and one mini crab leg. Nothing else was in the broth and to be quite frank, it tasted like dish soap. Will order the pasta again but def not the gumbo.

Absolutely delicious! The catfish was huge, couldn't finish the two pieces, and the Mac and cheese was perfectly seasoned. Well worth the money!!

Fries soggy, shrimp looked and tasted like it was cooked in old grease.Knew it would soon as I opened the box and seen how dark they were. Very disappointing. Wings were ok. Just too big and jumbo for my liking. Place is mid at best..
