For the price of the teriyaki chicken dinner I ordered for dinner, I expected to be comfortably full. However, to be honest, for $32, we probably received only half a piece of chicken and a half cup of rice. It was quite disappointing.
The food itself was delicious, but the portion sizes were a major issue. If you compare this to other Chinese or Japanese restaurants, where you can get a togo container for $13 and it’s so full that you can barely close it, it’s quite a contrast.
We ordered two chicken teriyaki dinners and I also ordered another side of chicken teriyaki, thinking it would be a great lunch the next day. Unfortunately, we ended up having to eat it with what we ordered, and the total cost came to around $14.
As there was only my child and myself , the total cost for dinner was $100. I would not recommend ordering from Osaka’s until they address their portion control.

Osaka use to be a midland and Odessa staple. Sadly they have fallen into the grey meat, precooked with sauce club. The noodles might be the absolute worst thing I've ever had. Horrible.

The filet dinner that was ordered medium rare with fried rice arrived as a half order, well done, and mixed up into the fried rice with missing vegetables. It appeared to be partially eaten and/or poorly prepared/handled (dasher received a generous tip).The lava cake was stale and not even close to the description. The temptation roll was disappointing to say the least. The only items that were correct were the cucumber salad and fortune cookies, presumably impossible to prepare incorrectly. I do not recommend this establishment for door dash. Nonetheless, DoorDash rectified the issue with a partial refund!

I love Osaka's food. The Osaka Dragon Eggs 🌶️ are one of my favorite menu items. This time, they were bland and overwhelming tasted of bad fish. The Side/Noodles were also bland. Osaka is known for its flavor. This tasted like an imitator barely trying. I truly hope the food returns to its normal quality the next time I order.
