The Hunan Garden Restaurant in Tacoma, Washington, serves authentic, fresh Chinese cuisine.
This was my first time ordering from Hunan Gardens and I can definitely say I'll be returning. I placed an order for pick up but wasnt going to be able to arrive before closing so they delivered it to me at the very last minute! The Spring Rolls had shrimp in them which I love but that's something to consider if you're allergic to shellfish. The Sesame Chicken was tender and you get a lot of food in the portion. I'm looking forward to trying other menu items!

The egg Egg Rolls (2) were larger than any I've had anywhere else, and they were perfectly crispy and flavorful. Love the large Beef Lo Mein portion (I eat small meals and got 2 good sized meals out of this), which had the right balance of beef with veggies and noodles. So impressed that I'm now ordering again, just a couple days later lol

Everything was delicious and fresh. It was still piping hot when it arrived. This is my new favorite Chinese takeout! The Chicken with Broccoli was so good. Huge serving. Had enough for lunch the next day.

I was hopeful that the food would be good given the few recent reviews. absolutely a mistake.
Fried Dumplings (6) were gross tasting. like old canned meat tasting.
General Tso's Chicken .. I don't know what was wrong with that chicken but the texture the flavor was wrong. as if it was left out all day and then cooked.
not recommended to eat here.
the 2.55 Soda is a 12oz can. shame on me for thinking for 2.55 I'd get a like 20 oz bottle.

Hot and sour soup was not good. Processed meat and I requested spicy and it was very bland. I did not eat it
Chicken soup was good , actual chicken strips in it. Very simple but that is how chicken soup is supposed to be.
Crab ragoon was decent and packed in a foil bag which kept them warm.
acked well and included plastic ware as requested.
