Today, I had the new pulled pork-roll and a Cochi-soda. It's their spin on this jamaica agua fresca with sparkling water and some sort of seasoning. So good! Very generous serving of carnitas on pretzel-like bun. I don't know if this is on the Mexican menu, but it's a nice sandwich. They have a new salsa too. I'm a huge fan of the hot and sweet combo, so l liked that sauce on my sandwich. It's most definitely worth either the drive or dashing it
The restaurant specializes in carnitas, giving us real Mexican food (I looked at their website and it's a family owned chain in Mexico, and this is apparently their first US store.) Basically, it's a carnitas restaurant, but they have chicken and carne asada if you must.
I've previously had the Cochi-snacks as an appetizer, which are like little baby sopes and are great!

Got the Cochi-bun today since I had to eat on a Zoom call. Los Cochinitos' carnitas are not like your typical Tex-Mex or SoCal citrusy or heavily seasoned pork, so it has a different, smoother taste. A bit of cilantro and onion and add in some salsa and it's fire!
The only thing at all with this order is it's described as having chip, and I got guacamole, but no chips or chicharones. But, I'll live. Will still buy again.

The shank and carnitas did not have any flavor. Additionally they gave us 50 cups of cilantro, onion and salsa. For $100 this was the worst!!!
