The handmade tortillas were still warm and had a good flavor. A nice touch. The beans were well hydrated, smooth and cooked just how I like them. Not chalky, sticky, or over-salted at all.

The food was wonderful, however when my dasher got there, they did not have my order in their system. So dasher had to wait for them to prepare order. Also, they forgot to put the 2 cans of soda that I paid for. I understand they might be busy, but Cafe Tizon needs to pay more attention to having orders in a timely and accurate way. Otherwise, tamales and menudo were great.

Ive tired these tamales before at a night market but this is my first time ordering from DoorDash and it's terrible. The tamales werent cooked, while I was unravaling the tamales the masa was melting right off the leaf and falling apart every where. Like I said ive tired them before and they were great idk what happened today but it was under cooked.
