I go to this restaurant all the time and regularly get their burritos (which are so big that I usually have leftovers) and tacos. Sometimes I try their main dishes and they never miss. I also love their housemade sauces - there's one in particular I can only get when I go to the store so I try and pick up my food as often as possible. The staff is so nice and super quick. If there is a line, they are worth the wait!

Plato de Tacos/Taco Plate was tiny. Not worth the $15 plate. The burrito is also small even in comparison to Chipotle. The least authentic Mexican food I've ever had. The carne asada burrito is definitely not carne asada, its boiled beef.

I ordered the Plato de Tacos / Taco Plate and got 3 Carnitas tacos and 1 Lengua taco with onions and cilantro. This plate came with 2 small portions of Spanish rice and refried beans. The lengua taco was pretty good. It was moist and the meat was very tender. However, the corn tortilla was wet and soggy and fell apart. (Maybe try toasting your tortillas a bit more) All the tacos had a very small amout of chopped white onion and cilantro on them. The carnitas tacos were worse. The usually tender juicy flavorful pork was dry, overcooked, and had no flavor. :/ The beans were warm even though I got my order in about 30-35min. The rice was your typical overcooked, day old tasting Spanish rice that you'd get from Las Margaritas or Azteca. I ordered tacos tonight to get a break from having Thanksgiving turkey leftovers again, man I wish I would have just had my leftovers instead! At least my turkey was juicy and it had way more flavor than these carnitas tacos did. Don't waste your money. Sorry but I wont be ordering from here again.

This purchase was on a Monday for lunch, carnitas were too salty and didn't look or tasted fresh at all.
This is the second time I've experienced the same poor quality of the namesake of the business, portions didn't feel right either, very little of side dishes on containers to go.
I can assure you that you can find better quality and value from a street vendor nowadays in Seattle.
I won't be ordering from them again unfortunately.

The carnitas were super greasy with big chunks of fat and gristle.. HOWEVER this is probably the best mexican food ive had since moving here from california 3 years ago. flavor was amazing and the salsas were the perfect amount of spice. best experience ive had with mexican food in seattle thus far.
