Really fresh sushi. Rainbow Roll and Volcano Roll were our favorite but the sashimi pieces were pretty generous where one piece was prob like 2 pieces in places like Hapa. Highly recomend. Was so good we did a lunch special this afternoon

I am sorry to say but I found the sushi dinner for two to be not so great. Just a few pieces of sushi and two very simple roll. For a price of 70. You can probably order it cheaper doing it separately. In addition, there were a few salmon and tuna sushi, but majority are cheap fish. Just overall feels like a platter of sushi that aren't sealing well today.
But maybe their other stuff are great.

We ordered 4 dishes and two orders were combined into one to-go plate so we had to break it apart and it was messy and got everywhere. My $18 was tiny. I was hungry after I ate it. We were only given 2 sets of chop sticks for 4 people.

AKI is by far the best in town. I've had sushi across the country, from Boston to Vegas, and then all Denver's top rated, but for the weekly sushi goer, AKI is the best value/quality we have found in town! it's hard to find their equal, and it's been 8yrs now. We feel lucky to have stumbled across this sushi diamond. They are also family owned and operated, maintaining quality and affordability, compared to others online, for sure. Sushi snobs may complain about specialized dishes, as I have read a few, but for the sushi advocate who appreciates true value, then order all the standards at AKI. ie: any of their rolls, love their fried rice, freshest cucumber salad, and try the miso black cod, it has a sweetness to it we love. - ChrisK

The Salmon Mango Roll and Tuna Avocado Roll were so good and fresh. Miso Soup and edmame were also delish. Sometimes edmame can be skimpy but these were full& fresh.
