I really wanted to say something nice about this place. about 5 years ago when I was pregnant I went to this place and I had a Pistachio Cannoli, and I thought it was the greatest thing I'd ever eaten in my life.
however this time, it was not the same. I ordered a rum Rum Baba , but guess they were out, so they sent 2 extra cannoli instead. I don't love the idea of just sending a different product instead of what was ordered. however at least they tried to compensate extra.
I really wanted to write a positive review but honestly my tiramisu was dry and not luscious like you would expect. it's like they have them shipped in from outside the store, mass produced.
the Pistachio Cannoli was fine honestly 6.5/10. the Chocolate Cannoli on the other hand was, I'm sorry, terrible :( I don't like having to say this but it was filled with basically chocolate and vanilla pudding it seemed like. maybe that's how it's supposed to be? I've had many cannoli and this one was not right : (

The desserts look nice and are generously sized, but the flavour doesn't match the appearance.
It doesn't taste like real whipped cream in the eclairs, more like the cheap whipped oil topping from places like Tim Horton's. Very dense and not much flavour.
This was my first time trying desserts from Riviera, but I'm afraid I won't order from them again.

The chocolate cannoli were delicious. The rum baba were good, first time I ever tried them, but the cannoli were more to my taste.
