I got the BEEF DONBURI combo and was so satisfied. Not only are the rice bowl and udon extremely tasty, but they also come in very generous portions. I was able to eat the combo over two full meals!

The food arrived spill-free. The portion of the food was just right for one person. The pork was a little tough and was missing the krispy aspect because it was packaged with the egg and rice. Other than that, I would recommend eating in-house versus delivery.

I have had many great udon while I was living in Japan but this was one of the most delicious food I had.
Portion is great! I did the medium size but oh boy! Great size !
Also the tempura is fresh and crispy. Yum yum ! Definitely ordering it again !

broth was ok a little on the saltier side and nothing special TBH. Noodles had good bounce and texture and the meat was sliced thin but was on the skimpy side. Little better than instant udon I can get at Hmart or Costco

Really underwhelming, especially at this price. Udon texture was fine, but portion of beef is disappointing tiny for $22. Tempura batter was thick and heavy. You can do much better for udon and Japanese homestyle food in SF.
