I an NEVER disappointed with this place! First the mole taco won my heart but the Caldo Tlalpeno Soup pushed it out of first place with an elbow shove and a huge smile. I get a bite of different delicious flavors with each spoonful. I should've stirred it completely before I dived in but I HAVE NO REGRETS because the strips of chicken are tender, then I get rice and cheese, and a little further I get avocado and onions and spicy bits of yumminess! 11/10

Thought I'd try out their tacos this time. Street Tacos are solid, good size for the price. Wish they were yellow tortillas with an oil dip but that's just preference. Everything was hot and fresh. The Pastor / Spicy Pork fried tacos are okay. Not my favorite pastor marinade, but not bad. Overall 7/10, their tortas are better. I'd order again but prefer tacosnganas.

Caldo Tlapeno Soup bowl comes in a quuart size container and is loaded with chicken, rice, freshavocado and a whole chipotle (that I removed). It is delcious and enough for two people. The chips and Queso are perfect!

Have you ordered the chips & Queso? The queso togo container is larger than the chips container. Apparently they want you to soak your entire meal in cheese, rather than supplying you with enough chips. I counted the chips, and it was 13. There are 13 chips for the 1.5 cup bowl of queso for $6. Please fix this Maciel's!

I ordered the Asada / Steak v and got the veggie burrito instead with steak in it, the Street Tacos was a good size but I wasn't aware that it was for a single taco & the meat was chewy. Portion wise the money is worth it, but I'm disappointed with what I got.
