This portion is ridiculously generous for a lunch special. I had enough for two meals. Bursting with flavor, seriously chunky meaty sauce, and the pasta had the perfect bite. Exceeded my expectations.

Good sized portions, and incredible food. Made it all the way across town and still hot! The Octopus Salad was so good, octopus flavored so well. The desserts were decadent. Incredible takeout experience!

The Lunch Special combines quality with affordability. Getting a salad, a main pasta, AND a canola for the price is unbeatable. The beef ragu was perfectly seasoned and the texture of the pasta was divine. The salad was hand made and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. The canoli was amazing; it's like if you combined cookies and cream with pistachios in finger food form. It's refreshing to see a restaurant with passion and good portions.

Authentic Italian cuisine; affordable pricing; quick prep; and great portions. As a New Yorker familiar with little Italy restaurants, I have come across very few DC restaurants that compare and provide organic meats, strong flavors, and affordable Italian food. Will def. be ordering again.

My Doinach Ricotta Ravioli had no marinara to speak of, it instead smothered in Alfredo white sauce, almost inedible. The salad to dressing ratio was too low (and I don't prefer much anyway), and the cannoli was only filled at the ends, with a good two inches of empty casing. Despite largely empty of filling, the cannoli was delicious. But overall, the experience was disappointing.
