• 25-01-27The pozole is my favorite soup in DFW- has a little kick and you can tell it's homemade and loaded with chicken and veggies. The taco salad is delicious, great amount of meat and salad!

• 25-12-29They catered our Christmas lunch last week so I thought I would give them a try. I ordered an entree of Pozole (packed in a large plastic sealed container) opened and it smells so fresh, it is a bit spicy for me but tolerable (i'm a weakling with caliente) and filled with hominy. It comes with a separate side of small diced radishes, onions, red cabbage, jalapenos and some oregano. Personally, I like generous toppings than what they provided but all in all great tasting pozole! The free bag of chips and small container of salsa was a surprise and delight.

• 24-10-02Avila's is one of the best Tex-Mex restaurants in Dallas! It's legendary. Their food is excellent, and the queso is exceptional.
