I don’t know what kind of magic Wholly Cow is working in their kitchen, but these gluten-free cookies are absolutely ridiculous—in the best way possible. As someone who’s tried nearly every gluten-free cookie from coast to coast (and a few international contenders), I can confidently say: these are the best gluten-free cookies to exist on this planet.
Perfectly chewy in the center with just the right amount of crisp around the edges, every bite is a symphony of texture and flavor. You’d never guess they’re gluten-free—there’s zero compromise. The balance of sweetness, richness, and that fresh-from-the-oven feel is unmatched. It’s like your childhood cookie dreams came back… but somehow better, and totally gluten-free.
Wholly Cow, you’ve set a new standard. If you’re in Austin and haven’t tried these yet, run—don’t walk. These cookies are worth obsessing over. Five stars, two thumbs up, and a lifetime of loyalty from this gluten-free fanatic.

After 10 years since having Wholly Cow, it still is the best burger in all of Austin! Grass fed burgers, the best hand-cut fries and the chillest dudes always manning the counter or kitchen. It's never failed.

The Philly Cheese Fries and White Cheddar Mac and Cheese 12oz were a complete disappointment, borderline scam. The Cheese Fries pictured on their menu looks like it's definitely worth 10+ dollars, and so does the Mac and Cheese. However, as you see in the photos provided, not only were they smaller than their pictures showed they would be, but they didn't look like the photo AT ALL. I even put a regular 16.9oz water bottle for scale since basically they could fit on the palm of my hand. Even if I were to pick them up for their regular, non-dash, price i wouldn't recommend getting anything but the main dishes like the burger and sandwiches, since they were honestly pretty good. Not worth the money for these two items, however.

I order their trashy cheesesteak all the time. It's huge and so delicious. Today I got the wholly schiese burger on wheat. Great heat and flavor but on the small side compared to dans or hopdoddy. The side of tots was generous. If you want leftovers, go with the cheesesteak. Try the loaded chili cheese fries too - happy to support them after the downtown restaurant closed.

This place is so good! the service is always so fast and the Food is always hot on delivery. everything on this menu is amazing! the River of Queso Burger is to die for. the Chili Queso Fries are heaven . the almighty rueben made my husband sing and dance. order from here!
