I cannot stress how great this place is for a small taqueria. Growing up in the city, I've had it all but this place has just a great overall consistency. Their steak is a better quality than others and never old and crusty. It's always fresh n soft n not too greasy. All their meats have good charred grilled flavor. I've had their chicken, Al pastor and carnitas. The vegetables are fresh and so are the salsas. Only thing I didn't like were the tortas. But they always pay attention to detail and follow all my requests. I am always craving Estrella!

Estrella Taqueria really knows what they're doing for the price in sf. Filled to the brim with the comfort food of 2 Enchiladas Dinner fit for 2. All mine.

I paid extra for cheese and extra for sour cream and received almost no cheese and a regular amount of sour cream that saddens me its topped with what looks and tastes like old guac but I probably was their last order of the night. I rather them not people any its hard to enjoy but they answered the phone and was polite and answered questions about my order which made it less stressful. Sure id order again

Burrito was dry and too spicy...couldn't finish eating it.
Birria tacos didn't have cilantro and onions like other places; and the soup was bland. Worse $50 spent

For $30.00? There was barely any rice or beans or sour cream and the meat was dry. I smhughly disappointed
