Being from the Philly area and having made thousands of proper cheesesteaks as a line cook in my youth, I can confidently say that The Cheese Steak Shop consistently makes excellent, proper cheesesteaks. This has been the only restaurant I've found utside of where I was raised that does legit steak sandwich. Love it

Classic Philly is outstanding, super cheesy and delicious, I get a mix of both sweet and hot peppers, the hot ones are definitely hot so if you don't like spicy I would get them on the side or not at all. Tried their onion rings for the first time and they were really crunchy and the batter was great. Overall love this place, never disappoints

Third order now from this shop and I'll keep coming back!! So far I've only tried their classic philly and western but both are amazing, and the cheesesteak fries are out of this world!! Perfect soft fries and generous on the whiz

Definitely recieved a sandwich that was sitting around that they just slapped some lettuce on top of and re-wrapped. I've ordered from here before so I know the sandwiches are normally good. This one was cold with crusty bread and lettuce sitting on top. I selected "deliver directly to you" and my order arrived quickly so the issue wasn't that it traveled long enough to get cold and crusty. I hope this isn't a sign that their service is declining.

Had requested both cheeses on the Classic Philly sandwich and paid extra for it. There were minimal traces of cheese. It was more steak than cheesesteak. Would not order from here again.
