Our favorite place to stop when in Philly! The guys are always friendly and the subs are always fresh bread, great meat and wiz!!! The fries are also superb! This may be an iconic spot and yes, plenty of places to get a cheesesteak (and we've tried many), but Pat's always delivers fresh & delicious with a smile! We keep going back to Pat's! Highly recommend!

Purchased a "philly" from both pats and genos... both dry as a hot summer day.. did not put mayo or ketchup on "sandwich" even though it was ordered that way. But atleast pats had twice the beef as genos. Glad i ordered and tried them both. Now that ive wasted my money for the sake of others, please order from angelos or dalessandros.

As a native, non-tourist, I don't know what I was thinking spending money on this.
Super expensive and not all that big of a steak. Ordered extra cheese and it was still dry. I've had way better cheesesteaks - the roll was ok, but there are better rolls out there and let's be honest, a good steak sandwich is all about the roll.

for $17, the Mushroom Cheese Steak was fairly small, but it was mid. pretty expensive, so i was a bit disappointed. the Cheese Fries were the star of the show, honestly. very crunchy and good.

Love the cheesesteaks here, but they've definitely gotten smaller recently. Also pricey for a cheesesteak.
