Always delighted with the incredible flavor packed with care in each item I've ordered from 7.8.5. The Fried Catfish is delicately fried for a crisp outer and flaky inner. On this order, I chose red beans and rice with corn bread and a side of Fried Okra. The red beans and rice was perfectly cooked and skillfully seasoned. The cornbread is moist and soft with a touch of sweetness. Lastly, the Fried Okra is something I order EVERY time. I never get the buffalo seasoning because I can't handle the heat. ***Please note that the condition of my order was a result of the door Dasher and NOT 7.8.5- This is NEVER how the 7.8.5 Kitchen provides service. very disappointed in Dasher, but the food was of course delicious!

Fried Catfishgood sized fillets with consistency flavor throughout.The breading is light and wasn't greasy at all. The greens tasted like Sylvia's out the can and the cabbage is lightly seasoned. Some places over do it. Corn bread muffin was warm and possibly brushed with honey butter?Grilled Shrimp Plate came with 7 or 8 medium sized Shrimp loadee with cajun spice? I definitely will be ordering these items again.

This was all undercooked Fried pork chops that I wasn't able to eat.. the okra was a very small portion for $5 like 12-14 pieces total. Container wasn't even half full and it was a small container the small piece of corn bread was good and so was the mashed potatoes the soda was "Best Choice" Brand for $2+ is insane. Very MID.

Hands down the best soul food in town and probable in a 50 mile radius! Trust and believe! The chicken fried chicken is the BOMB! Mashed taters, yams, the greens!! OMG YES!!!! Corn bread and greens yest!!! Well worth the wait and I will be ordering this again and again!

Lots of food at a great price. Everything arrived hot and neatly packaged. The chicken sandwich was good. The mashed potatoes with white gravy was amazing. Tastes just like homemade. Natural cut fries were good too. Not drowning in Salt and were crispy.
