My partner and I are here from out of town and wanted to order in Chinese food. I went on DoorDash and shows this restaurant for its high ratings. We were not disappointed by any means. In fact, we were overwhelmed with how delicious, fresh, clean, exceptional. This Chinese food was.
We kept saying when we were eating it,"this is the best Chinese food I've ever tasted"and it was true.
We we had soups that were super flavorful. I had orange chicken. He had some shrimp chili dish and we had eggrolls. Not a speck of grease anywhere just good flavor through and through.
I'm truly overwhelmed. It is going to ruin me for any Chinese food I ever get where I live in New Mexico. This has raised the bar 100 fold.

Mr. Chen's food was BEYOND good!!!! it was literally spectacular. My partner and I were sitting here munching away and saying to each other,"this is the best Chinese food I have ever eaten". And literally, it is true.
The food is fresh, well prepared, no grease whatsoever, and extra extraordinary flavor.
Every bite was a flavor bomb in your mouth.
We ordered through DoorDash, so it wasn't their delivery system that was so prompt, but it came very quickly, it was piping hot, it was packaged really well, and once we started eating, we could not stop.
It is probably going to ruin me for the rest of my life to Chinese food in New Mexico, or anywhere else for that matter!
I don't know what else to say except you gotta try it and you will understand what I'm talking about. This is FANTASTIC food!!!

The Beef w. Mixed Veggie in Garlic Sauce was not tasty and the sauce was fishy. The Shredded Beef with Chili Peppers was ok and child liked it but overall the food is not that great. Have tried several times because my child likes one dish

We only order from Mr. Chen's. The soup is amazing in any style. We love their house rice. The new dumplings with soup inside are fantastic. And we also love the lo mein. We have had so many dishes from Mr. Chen's and it's hard to name them all. You will not be disappointed.
