Best nilagang baka in the neighborhood -- they don't skimp on ingredients and the portions are generous. The beef cuts are so tender, yet the veggies remain crisp! Good for 2-3 people, but it's just too delicious for me to share.

Food is so authentic and such good portions! I was weary about ordering when they were about to close
but the food was so fresh! The crispy pata was huge! and they made sure to put enough sauce!
The J5. Laing was so flavorful and had huge chunks of pork and lots of shrimp!
I crave the food of
home and not willing to trek to queens and will be ordering from
here!

OMG! The cassava cake was burnt on the sides. It was only half an inch in height! $7!!!
The bulalo? The bone marrow was almost empty. Nothing in there except a pinch of meat.

Very disappointing that food taste/quality has gone down.
This was a favorite place for me to order filipino food but my order yesterday was just so-so.
The lacked the spice and flavor it usually has. Also there were hardly any pork chunks and only one shrimp which was super soggy and overcooked.
As for the "crispy" G1. Crispy Pata was hardly crispy at all. Most of the skin was chewy and soggy. Even the sauce it comes with tasted bland when usually it is so citrusy and salty
Lastly the O5. Cassava Cake was so so bland and hardly had any sauce over it. It just tasted custardy without the cassava flavor or hardly any sweetness.
$53 felt like such a waste for these items- I could have ordered a bunch of thai or chinese food for way less with more taste and better quality

the bistek is a hit and miss because of the meat they use. the karekare doesn't have much meat for being the price it is.
