The food at Bob Evans is always fresh, cooked exactly the way you want it. It's like the cook knows what you want before you say anything...The vegetables are a hundred plus, they go above and beyond to treat you right even ordering when they cannot see you...Now that's a cool, that's like family! And that's it... You have perfectly cooked food, dang good food, it's truly enough to fill big man up... Just like home, and they are, just like family... when you go in to eat, that's a good way to feel family and friends..Mushroom and Onion Chopped Steak is awesome, out of this world...perfectly cooked!!!
You can't keep us away. My family feels the same way!!! The best Restaurant in Lake City, FL. for any meal... breakfast, lunch, dinner, and they serve breakfast all day!!!

Strawberry Supreme Pie was nothing but whipped cream and strawberry no pie crust and it was very tiny amount for $7. i don't know if it was because it was 30 minutes before closing and they were mad they had to cut a piece of pie or what but to go out their way to package whipped cream and strawberry and a piece of back crust. i thought it was melted initially until I stuck my fork into air.

BE's food is good and consistent. However, as DD customer for over two years, they also are consistent in being the number one table service restaurant that takes the longest to fill an order. Coming in just ahead of Cracker Barrel. I've had more Dashers having to wait on my food than any other, no matter what time or day of the week. And my meal schedule is hardly ever on par with rush hours. Hopefully they'll work on this problem. Their pancakes are the best of everyone's.

Bob Evans' pancakes just cannot be beaten. Much better even than IHOP, and the word 'pancake' is in their name! For a change, I ordered the chicken sausage, and it wasn't bad at all. Also for a change, I decided to try the home fries instead of hash browns, as they tend to be a little anemic in amount and the cook (hint to Bob: put grits on the menu!). I was always apprehensive about ordering griddle potatoes for fear of them being undercooked. Sad to say I wasn't wrong here. It's hard to get chunks of potatoes done on the flat top. That is the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

This meal was $18 and the portions were terribly small. Will never order from this establishment again. In additon the biscuits were super DRY!
