Best pasta and meat sauce in DC. The bigger noodles are unique but also makes the dish more filling than other restaurants. Also the consistency of this restaurant is amazing. I have Door-dashed this order at least 20 times this year and they never disappoint.

I have ordered from bear twice before and loved it! I order the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka with shrimp and it comes like I was in the restaurant with a nice sized shrimp. Today what I got was a joke. The shrimp were so small and tiny. I cant believe I paid 9$ for it. I could tell this wasn't made on the spot

Im glad I tried something new with the squid ink pasta. It was honest one of the best pastas Ive ever eaten. The bread was so good im gonna say that it was one of the best breads and spreads Ive eaten. Lastly the butter cake... the butter cake omg so good. Next time my husband and I will visit the restaurant, sit down and eat. 11/10 food honestly, especially if you love authentic/close to authentic Italian cuisine.

I've eaten here a couple times and very muxh enjoyed it, so I was excited to order the Sunday Night Lasagna. Unfortunately, it was not very good at all. It tasted like it was made with rice noodles as they were so thin and the entire dish was very soupy. It had no substance and was incredibly overpriced for the dish. Lasagna is typically made with a thicker noodle and has 3 layers of noodles and it barely tasted like more than 1 layer was used.

The Bolognese** was delicious but I think the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka is my favorite! Cesar salad was wonderful and we split it between 3 people. The Grilled Bread & Good Olive Oil comes with parmesan and is a great equivalent to garlic bread!
