Over the years I've eaten North Carolina barbecue in many different places. This meal was the perfect combination of all my favorite flavors. The juicy barbecue, the crunchy hush puppies with soft insides balanced perfectly with creamy vinegar slaw. Nothing was overly sweet that left me looking forward to my next order.

I have liked everything I have gotten here, until today. Im not sure what the burgers were made out of. It wasn't ground beef. Might have had some beef in it, texture was all wrong and very little flavor. I was surprised and disappointed. Guess I will stick to Ruby Tuesdays for a good burger.

The hush puppies alone are worth an order. I could eat myself sick on those things. The hush puppies dipped in the honey butter they provide are definitely chef's kiss. Highly suggest. Mine arrived hot and fresh! Portion size was normal but if you're going to let someone eat one of these, know they're going to eat five. Maybe order up a size? lol

BBQ itself was good, but no BBQ sauce was sent, so that was disappointing. Hush puppies and fries were decent. Mac and cheese was pathetic; very liquidy and tasted like something from a box. The Apple turnover was sad; the crust was nice and crispy but the apples inside had no flavor, it was just like hot liquid-y apples. The peach cobbler was very wet and mushy; extremely soggy with no flavor.
