Both items were excellent, the salad is delicious, the rice is well-cooked, the tilapia is inspiring me to change how we make our home recipe of tilapia with capers, the jerk chicken was so tender and juicy, generous portion sizes. If we lived in the area this place would be on regular lunch rotation.

This is a home cooked meal. Fresh, flavorful and delicious. This small family run spot serves authentic food with great portions. I was full and satisfied. I got the Shrimp with Grilled Veggies on a Creamy Chipotle Sauce and my boyfriend got the Jerk Chicken. 10/10 would order again. Only downside is they close very early usually around 2:15pm

Rio California is definitely a spot that's a staple for me after the gym or whenever I want great flavor that feels homemade with love. My only grievance with this spot is that the packaging does not aid well to both hold and cold components. On several occasions my salad has become soggy because it's packaged next to hot food. If this were to change this spot would be 100/10 every single time

Chips are stale and the burrito is ALL rice and yes there's a decent portion of meat but I'd say is 3/4th rice. I'm scooping it out. Salad is good.
