first time, everything was good, but the packaging was mislabeled and I ate my wife's without realizing it wasn't mine. she had to eat the spicy cheese steak instead of the one she ordered. please take care when labeling food. thanks. great food.

I ordered from Philadelphia Tavern for the first time, thanks to positive reviews on Google and Yelp. I was in the mood for a meal of fried fish on the day that I ordered. It's hard to find a place that does good fish in Manassas. I got the 'Fish & Chips' with a side of onion rings. The fish had a great look to it! Very beautiful. The breading for the fish had great flavor and crunch. The fries were a bit soggy, but that's okay. The fries tasted great, as well. The onion rings were perfect, and I loved them. The only negative thing I have to say about the food was that the pieces of fish were so huge that some bites had almost no breading to them, leaving a bland taste in my mouth. The fish by itself has no real seasoning to speak of, and is bland. If they cut the fish into smaller pieces, and coat all those pieces in breading, I think it would be for the better.

The Classic Cheesesteak had globs of mayo falling off of it. I would estimate that there were at least 3 tablespoons of mayo on each side of the sub. It was disgusting. Even without the mayo issue, the meat had no flavor.

The Reuben was tasty but too soggy & fell apart. The children's tenders was ONLY 2 pieces!! The fries were good though.

Everything was very good. Beat cheesesteaks I've had from this area by far. And that says a lot about a place, especially coming from an area where cheesesteaks are our thing from PA. Thank you for bringing a little home to us.
