Some of the best Fried Food in the Greater New Orleans area. The Chicken is as crispy and flavorful with just a little hint of spice.  The Fried Fish is exceptional and I would put it up against any in the City.  At very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Decently priced and sized chicken tenders. The wings are very small though.

Both are fried well but i would have liked more spice. Does the job if you just want crunchy chicken tenders though. Tism friendly food.

Absolutely scrumptious meal after a long day.  Solid amount of food for the price. True cajun seasoning in the Chicken White Meat (3 Pieces) and the Red Bean with Rice. Stayed crispy despite traveling. Ate this all in my hotel when nobody was looking and have no regrets.

Highway Chicken has consistently upheld its great quality food. Even after  3 mile delivery from the restaurant to my home, the food arrived hot and crispy. No greasy,oily taste here like Popeyes. This chicken  never fails to meet expectations . Even fried onion rings are fresh and crispy when they arrive. No frozen rings.   Bisquits are made from scratch and come with the order. Highly recommend this little known secret spot.   .  . .

I agree with the review that mentioned their batter is the only in the city that isn't super salty. Maybe I got a bad batch, but there was far more batter that actual bird. It was like cracking a walnut or shucking corn to get to the goods.

The wings were like gerbil legs. (tiny)
