I enjoyed my 2 Item Combo, I had the chili rellano and hard taco, my only suggestion is to not wrap the Crispy Taco in foil becauae it is not crispy, it tasted good but it was like a big street taco. The Quesadilla Avila was a portion enough for two people and I really enjoyed the family size chips and salsa! I would order again.

The Mama Avila's Soup (at the Foothill Ranch location) is my FAVORITE soup ever. The Seal Beach location has never made it right. Everything is different... the broth, less chicken, less rice, less avocado, how its packages. It sucks here. I keep trying it in hopes they step it up, but it's always a disappointment.

The crisp tacos were soggy. The refried beans were gray with almost no cheese. I've ordered from this restaurant before. The food was delicious. What happened? I will not order food from this restaurant again.

Its bad enough that you charge $20 for a bowl of soup but then you don't even complete the order. No tortillas or even a decent spoon to drink the soup with? Soup oversalted as usual. I decided to try ordering again after my last dissapointing order. Won't be doing that again. You are but a shadow of your former self. Extremely disappointed.

We love Avillas! Unfortunately, it's doubtful that we'll go through DD anytime soon. The prices are exorbitant, especially for what you get - so, while the food is good (especially the soup!), I'd rather not have to spend $20-$25 for it.
