truly smelt my grandma in the Small Plantain (10 pieces) and can honestly say this is pure Ghanaian food. the suya is not from Ghana but mixed with the Jollof (small portion) , you would not be able to tell the diff

The absolute best!! Every time I order it gets better and better each time. Egusi soup with goat and banku, extra spicy is the go to. Especially when it's cold. Finish it off with some pound cake for a 12/10 meal! I usually order the larger and have enough for 2 meals

I got the Egusi and Pounded Yam serves with chicken& beef with goat meat. Wow! Ive never had African food before, and I am currently making it a priority to step outside my comfort zone and try different foods.
I was not disappointed!! It's savory, spicy, and packed with so much flavor. The fufu was absolutely wonderful with the Egusi.
I also ordered the Small Plantain (10 pieces)as a side. The plantain with the egusi together??? Super awesome flavor combination.
Definitely recommend and will order more in the future.

Beef Stew W/ Rice or Fufu only had 3 pieces of beef for $18 ! Fish was bland. Nothing was worth the money

This was my first time trying Egusi and Pounded Yam. Oh my gosh, it was probably one of the top 5 dishes I have ever eaten. I enjoy trying different cultures foods and Angie's did not disappoint. I don't know what meats were in the assorted meats selection but they were AMAZING. The meat was tender, the stew was piping hot. I ordered right before they closed and the food was fresh. It wasn't spicy. There was a lingering warmth but not spicy. The pounded yam was good too- hot, a little stick, pairs super well with the egusi.
The plantains were perfectly cooked!
I also ordered the pound cake but I did not like it very much. It kind of had a greasy after taste.
Turkey tails were pretty good but not the star of the show. They were a little dry but I put them in the egusi and they softened up and got ate upppp!
I will most definitely order from here again!
