Yes, it's a bit expensive. Is it worth it? In a word — YES!
We had been dazzled by a meal at Aventino, and decided to try AP pizza, its "sister" restaurant. Fresh ingredients, terrific crust, both in texture and preparation. The best pizza we have had at home or on site.

AP's Italiano may be the best sandwich in the DC metro area!
Caesar salad is very good, especially with the added chicken breast. Very well packaged for travel.

Cheese Pie was really good but would never pay $30 for a small pie. Bought it on a special bogo which was okay

Could have been pretty good, but way too salty, both the topping and sauce. Also doesn't look like the picture, is supposed to be mostly marinara sauce but instead is almost fully covered with topping. Crust not bad.
