• 5 days agoThe food has crack in it yall !! You will keep coming back lol lol. I was so skeptical cause they're was some bad reviews but man.. The pork chop dinner was so hot and fresh !! It was steaming in the bag !! Collard greens thick and flavorful !! Not watery or soggy at all !! Mac and cheese tasted fresh like it was made an hour ago so cheesy and flavorful. And each pork chops was like the size of my hands mannn this place 10/10 hands down !! I'm not even from here yall just a truck driver breezing through..

When I tell you this was HANDS DOWN some of the BEST soul food I’ve had in South Jerse!! And trust me, I’ve tried a few places!
I ordered the Mix & Match with a 2-piece fish, 3-piece wings, BBQ, potato salad, and macaroni & cheese… and EVERYTHING hit. 🔥
But that fish?! Darius seasoned that fish like his ancestors were speaking to him in real time! 😂👏🏾 Every bite was seasoned perfectly, fresh, hot, and full of flavor.
The portions are PLENTIFUL, the food is FRESH, and most importantly, Aunt Berta’s is CONSISTENT. EVERY. FREAKING. TIME.
South Jersey does not have an endless supply of really good soul food, so when you find a place that delivers every single time, you have to give them their flowers. 💐
I am OVERLY pleased with my food. Aunt Berta’s Kitchen has officially secured their spot for me.
10/10 — no notes. Just go eat! 😂🔥👏🏾

• 24-05-10I had the Mix & Mix & Match with beef ribs, collards, fried fish, potato salad & sweet potatoes. The ribs were beyond tender, they fell right off the bone and were seasoned just right. The fried fish was equally as good. The sweet potatoes had too much cinnamon for my taste, buts thats just me. The potato salad was good, but some of the potatoes were a tad crunchy, but it tasted great nonetheless. I would not hesitate ordering this entire meal again, I'm very satisfied, I even have enough left over for tomorrow. Although I ordered take out I would sit in, the restaurant was clean and has ample seating. Staff was polite & friendly. See you again soon!

• 26-10-01The "mega" whiting sandwich had fish strips. I ate 3 fish strips before I took the picture. The "fried" chicken sandwich had a small drumstick and thigh that was pathetically fried. I'm going to stop ordering delivery from here because of the declining quality and quantity of $60 worth of food. The collard greens, macaroni & cheese with potato salad was good despite the disappointment with the whiting and chicken sandwiches.

• 26-05-03Okay.. so let's talk about how AMAZING this food is.. The fish, Comes with 5 pieces of well and swell seasoned fish, fried to perfection !! The yams!! 10/10 Just the right amount of of spices to complete this masterpiece.. It might be me but i taste a slight hint of apple inside the yams , FIRE!! The mac and cheese... No words... Amazing!!!!!! Can't forget about the cornbread, Fluffy, moist.. I'd definitely Order again ! Great portion all for 20$, and my food was still hot...
