Avvio had THE BEST eggplant parm in the state.   It is perfect!!!  We also ordered the antipasto, which was awesome, and the Cesar salad with grilled flatiron steak.  The steak was cooked perfectly, and the salad was fresh and tasty.  I've never been disappointed with Avvio.

Super delicious chicken piccata! Everything tasted fresh, the potatoes were tender, the green beans were still a little crisp, the chicken was rich but not greasy, there were plenty of capers, and it was all a generous portion. Will order again!

Very disappointed, unfortunately.

Arancini - Very mediocre flavor. The Bolognese Ragu that is added gave it a very weird texture that we did not enjoy.

Tuscan Ribollita - Extremely heavy on the tomatoes, which ruins the dish. The consistency was closer to a thick chili rather than an actual soup, and the overwhelming tomatoes cancel out all other flavors.

Cajun Chicken Sandwich - Wildly disproportionate ingredients. The top half of the bread was twice as thick as any of the other ingredients and the chicken was dry. Felt like I was eating a loaf of bread with chipotle sauce rather than an actual sandwich. They also forgot to add the side of fries to the order (this was refunded by DoorDash).

Tiramisu - Very mid. The coffee cream topping on the side was delicious. The desert itself lacked any depth of flavor and the texture was very watered down.

The pizza had probably 10 pieces of lettuce and like 4 small pieces of prosciutto scattered on a large pizza basically just a gluten free thin pie with cheese you are paying for. Nothing like the photo. The pasta  was a small portion for what you pay. I will not be ordering again from here to go.

Have ordered from here before, but this order really fell short. My son's chicken parm looked like someone's leftover. There were only a few pieces of pasta and a cooked piece of chicken that was cut in half, I couldn't even feed it to him. My salad didn't come with any dressing. And our order didn't have any bread included. Not very good over $125 of takeout.
