The empanadas de lomo are fantastic- crisp, flavorful, well spiced (not spicy). The Lomo saltado is so good. Crisp fries, with rice, tomatoes, onions, and beef in a delicious umami sauce. Hits the spot every time!

The Ayawaska - Pollo salad is one of the best things from the restaurant - the dressing is luscious, salad ingredients are flavorful and fun, and it's a great big portion. The Side of roasted veggies was alright. It had been a while since I last ordered from Ayawaska, and I'm glad I thought of them.

The Tallarines verdes has always been my favorite & I order it quite regularly. Tonight it was awfully!! The meat was full of gristle and tough.
I also ordered Side Lomo Extra, $16
The description says it's SUPPOSED to be:
Stir-fried beef typically includes onions, tomatoes, and french fries with a portionof rice. I ONLY RECEIVED a container of 11 TINY pieces of beef! NOTHING else! I didn't even want to try the quality of the beef - couldn't stomach it at this point.
I don't know what happened but I would never have expected this from Ayawaska!

Everything is amazing. I tentatively order the lentils once (I've eaten here like 10 times). Lentils are very boring thing to order but I wanted something really healthy but grounding. Hot damn those were the best lentils of my life. My only complaint is Once ordered the empanadas and weren't hot or crispy. Per the high prices, they need to make sure every meal is hot and if it's supposed to be crispy, crispy.

The Salmon con crema de poro and Side of roasted veggies were very good! The sauce on the fish was an especially nice touch, and the vegetables were cooked perfectly.
