Liver and Grits. Bertha put her foot in this food! the food here eminds me of Anita's back in the day. If i didnt order it i wld hv thought my Momo or one of Great Aunties made it. I never liked liver nor onions as a child but some kinda way those who know how to cook it make it taste like a southern delicacy.

Let me start by saying this was my first time ordering from Bertha’s and when I called the woman I spoke with had the most amazing customer service! She said Ms. Bertha appreciates all of her customers and wants us all to feel that appreciation and she was so heartwarming! The chicken was absolutely delicious! The potato salad was divine!! The red beans, however, looked nothing like the photo and I hate having to say this, but they were terrible. The consistency was awful, and they just didn’t taste good at all. I’ll definitely be back to try other things, maybe it was just a bad bean day, but the service alone will bring me back again and again!
