Gotta tell ya, I had always questioned if I should order from Big Island Bowls -- wasn't sure the price justified it. It absolutely does -- put away the hesitation and get something from here. Lifeguard bowl is my favorite thing.

Funky monkey is more strawberry than anything, but it's to die for! I don't even need to finish the dish to know it's  a quality investment in terms of delivering food. Best deal in st Augustine for sure!

I had one special request on the instructions which was do use a different sauce. They don't read the instructions from customers! The tuna was not fresh, the color and the taste indicated this clearly. 
The Mana Kea used to be delicious When they first opened. I don't know what they've done but, it has steadily gone downhill. Sadly, I will not order from this restaurant again. It used to be a favorite of mine, long ago

I didn't like that the cucumbers were not peeled that. My rice was hot ?! and it steamed my raw meat. You do get a large portion ,but displeased with my order.
