I ordered the Busy Bee Acai Bowl and the Nuttin’ Better smoothie, and the Acai Bowl was completely misrepresented. The item arrived with a heavy ice-slush consistency, which is not mentioned anywhere in the menu description. At -13 degrees outside, I would never have ordered a frozen item, and this bowl should absolutely be tagged or labeled as such.
The taste and freshness were impossible to assess properly because the bowl was essentially frozen. Portion size was fine, but the product did not match expectations. I specifically requested “no ice” for my smoothie due to the weather, so receiving an unannounced frozen acai bowl was very disappointing.
Overall, I would not order this item again unless the listing is corrected to reflect that it contains ice and is served as a frozen/slushy product.
