This was the 1st time ordering from Bourbon Street. I ordered the bourbon chicken and the orange chicken as any 2 meats; the macaroni and cheese & yellow rice for the any 2 sides.
I was surprised to receive everything in one big container instead of 2 separate containers, since combo plateS was plural. The portion size was large and reasonably priced.
However, I found the pieces to be too tough because most of the chicken was charbroiled and the rest was overcooked. i haven't tried the mac and cheese yet, but the yellow rice was dry. i was expecting at least some orange or bourbon sauce for the rice and on top of the chicken. Overall, I couldn't eat most of the chicken because.
I can't digest charbroiled food. In retrospect I didn't get my money's worth.
I had bourbon and orange chicken before at different restaurants where the chicken was always tender and juicy, unlike what I received today.

I ordered the "two" entrees combo plate twice before and received plenty or a good amount of mango chicken. Maybe because it was about an hour or so before they were closing, but I received less mango chicken and hard little ball mango chickens. This is still no excuse. The Bourbon chicken was fine and good as usual. Please do better next time and I can update my rating accordingly.

It's one of my favorites, I'll say this I wish they had even more of their big portions cause it's so damn good.

Fried rice is bland. Vegetable noodles have no flavor and doesn't look like the pic they have on app. The bourbon chicken is tasty. Didn'tpack plastic ware/napkins.
