The Buster Burger is excellent. For the price you pay you get a large patty burger. I ask for it well done and it is still juicy. Simple but flavorful. The cheese fries are good but this time came in a different to go box that made them all soggy. They still were yummy.

If you want a filling comfort-food meal, you could do a lot worse than Buster's.
The Philly Cheese Steak is pretty good, with tons of meat, for a cheap (for SF) price. The roll is not a classic crusty Amoroso-style, instead being soft all the way through and a bit chewy, but it doesn't overwhelm the sandwich with breadiness. The beef is definitely the main flavor here, as it should be.
I also got a side of chili cheese fries, which are not as good, but still ok. It's a ton of food, barely fitting in the container. And they definitely don't skimp on either the chili or the cheese sauce. But both taste like maybe they could have come out of a Hormel can.

Buster's has always delivered delicious Whole Sub California Cheese Steak Sandwich and Chili Cheese Fries! I love that it's inexpensive and classic. I used to live in North Beach and am glad I can get them delivered in the Sunset. For late night grub that is filling and fresh, Buster's is a great choice!

Had a note in my order that said "tonight another chef working, I hope you like it" - new chef, you did wonderfully, this was delicious! Loved it. Good job!
Everything tasted very fresh, seasoned just right, and perfect ratio of cheese to meat to peppers etc. Excited to order again.
(And to be clear the original chef's sandwiches were also great and I love ordering from there. But this is just as good (if not better!))
