Nice portion of chicken and brisket, great smoked flavor. I normally dont eat no one's pinto beans, but CJ pinto beans are deliciously close in flavor to my granny's. Orka was basic but I can tell they were fresh before delivery.

We ordered the whole chicken, a catfish plate and 1/2 pound of brisket. They were out of brisket for the day and they called (which I absolutely appreciated) and we substituted the pulled pork. The chicken was nicely smoked, had nice flavor but it was a very dry, tasty but dry. The pulled pork had great flavor but it was super salty. The biggest disappointment was the catfish. We wanted to be able to enjoy a little bit of everything (3 of us) but the catfish came in strips, not a full filet, we got 3 catfish strips, as if the filet had been cut in two ... 3 thin strips not 3 filets. I felt for the price of the plate 3 full filets would have been reasonable but not the strips. I'm not sure that we will order again, it wasn't awful but for $60 ... I was expecting more.

I ordered the 2 meat plate. Brisket, turkey, ranch potatoes, and Mac & cheese. It was great. Had dinner and have enough for lunch tmrw. Turkey is so juicy. Meat was awesome. Not dry!! Will definitely order again ‼️❤️

C&J is always great for barbeque. They've catered a couple of events for me and not only was the food excellent, but their service was superb. The ranch potatoes are fabulous!

C&Js get us right EVERY time! Do not buy bbq from anywhere else! The BEST chopped and sliced beef sandwiches in the Brazos Valley!!
