Cafe Havana is a family owned and operated business serving Cuban and Dominican cuisine. A taste of Hispanic cuisine in Ocala where you’ll feel right at home.
The fries immediately told me this place was going to be good—you can actually taste that the potatoes are fresh. Then I bit into the Cuban sandwich and WOW. The meat was packed with flavor, the bread was perfectly pressed, and that cheese pull was ridiculous. I fell in love with Florida sandwiches all over again because Illinois cannot compete with this kind of perfection 😂 Even the little lollipop they included was such a nice surprise—I’ve never had a restaurant do that before. Fresh, flavorful, generous, and made with care. I’ll absolutely be ordering again!

I was very satisfied with my order from Cafe Havana. The servings were abundant for the cost. I had the picadillo, with yellow rice, black beans and plantains. the beans were served on the side. the rice had lots of different vegetables mixed in and seasoned well. The Picadillo had great seasoning with cilantro, celery, olives, and raisins. I highly recommend this cafe.

Every single thing from Cafe Havana is delicious. I've ordered probably 20 times over the years and have had a 100% success rate. Portions are very generous, food is always fresh. They have the best empanadas I've ever had as well. Absolutely recommend

This place is very good!
The Vaca Frita was very flavorful and the yellow rice was perfect --- not too bland or too salty. I also got a side of fried yuca which was perfectly crispy. Black beans are nothing special but weren't bad either.
The portion on my lunch order was big enough I had some left overs for later, however I would have like an extra piece of fried yuca or two!
I will most certainly order again!

I have never ordered something I wasn't happy with. Absolutely delicious!! Always! And they have their cafe con leche down to a science! Perfect every single time! Thank you to everyone there! They have a customer for life with me and with my family.
