Opening the bag with the croque monsieur was like when they opened the briefcase in pulp fiction - it emitted a rich golden glow and elicited a gasp of wonder. Never in my life have i seen colour like that. The flavour matched the appearance and I spent a couple of days thinking about that sandwich before writing this review.
The breakfast sliders were similarly fantastic, adorable tiny creations with excellent classic flavours.
Cake Store has some of the best food in town.

the size was ridiculous for the price I paid for 1 slice of bread. taste was amazing but disappointed re size/cost

The lunch food is incredible (I'm sure breakfast is too, but I've only had lunch!) You can't go wrong with the gnocchi, tender and flavourful and whichever protein/nut combo is available is always a really delightful experience. I've also had club sandwich, pie, and other things I can't remember off the top of my head - everything is amazing.
