Best burgers in the east bay! Wish the pork belly had some pork...it was all fat but it didnt matter. The bahn mi burger was exceptional as was the tritip Chef's Burger. Mac and cheese was also excellent!

I would be doing Cali Alley a "dis-service" if I didn't leave this review. I have eaten here once before for lunch, so imagine my surprise when I opened the oversized white plastic bag and discovered a medium sized, overstuffed and greasy compostable "to go" box. To start the french fries were packed with a greasy parmesan cheese and had so much truffle oil on them. They were inedible. For Sure, not crispy. While I appreciate the size of the Fat Cat Fried Chicken Sandwich, it DID NOT belong in such a small paper food box alongside the fries and the "Family Size -$2.50" 4 oz. For Sure Not Homemade Ranch Dressing. I spent almost $35.00 for one sando and a side of fries. Never Again. I literally had two bites of the sandwich and maybe 4 soggy fries. I own a restaurant and cant always be there. I am not trying to be unreasonable. I would seriously welcome a review like this. At least now you can find out who is responsible for serving such an expensive sandwich and all of it ended up in my compostable trash can.

The Cali burger was great and cooked to perfect medium well doneness per our request and plenty big enough for my Mom and I to split. We had the Parmesan truffle fries as our side which were to die for!
Unfortunately, we added the Cali side salad and it was completely uninspired. A handful of greens with a few corn kernels and a cherry tomato sliced in half. I didn't care for the dressing either...too much vinegar. Stick to the burgers and fries

This is one of the best burgers I've ever had. The mac and cheese was heavenly and decadent! Don't sleep on the salad either. It was delicious and I loved the dressing.
