I've been eating from the original Campisi's by SMU for over 20 years. Thank god that was my first impression of the restaurant and not this one because this was disappointing on every level. One meatball? For a family-style pasta meal? ONE meatball? That is dry and doesn't even taste good? And the complimentary bread is not even worth including. The complimentary bread included from the original Campisi's not only includes WAY more bread, but that bread is buttered and fluffy, and actually compliments the dishes you order. Additionally we ordered a salad, since there was no information within the menu that said our pasta dishes came with salads. Upon delivery, we then had 3 salads. So evidently our entrées did come with a salad included. Would like to request a refund on the one we ordered. There was nothing listed within the menu available that stated the entrées came with salads and would not have ordered a salad if I would've known that. Expect Campisi to do better in the future.

This is Mr E. The lasagna tasted old and was over cooked. The pizzas were over cooked and had barely any toppings. The chopped salad was swimming in dressing. What a waste of money. Never again. Smart Ones lasagna tastes better than this garbage. What happened to Campisis? $70 to eat what my dog leaves in the yard.

I had high expectations considering the family background- but it's like any other Italian chain.. honestly. The spaghetti was mediocre and the sausage link I got seemed to have been boiled - not browned. It was horrible! I wouldn't order here - save your money...

Their The Soprano Pasta Special was really not that special. The sauce is bland, and tastes like cafeteria food. The meatball that I paid extra for tasted like it was made from potted meat and the fancy Joe's Special Garlic Toast was soft and had the texture of naan bread. 1/5 do not recommend. Especially at nearly $25 a plate.
