The food is ALWAYS sensational. The Kale salad is not only delicious, it includes so many of the vegan/WFPB ingredients we're supposed to eat for health and nutrition daily: lentils, grains, onions, avocado, green beans... The Mushroom salad is equally great including Arugula (a cruciferous vegetable!) and a great variety of mushrooms which are of course health powerhouses. They are perfectly,separately packed so the mushrooms arrive warm while the salad remains unwilted! The mashed potatos are light and so flavorful...The hummus is the best the city has to offer. if I'm ever on death row and need to pick a final meal, I'm requesting like 10 of the seitan al pastor Tacos. It's a 100/100! loooove the pineapple, too.
Everything here is amazing, by far my favorite vegan restaurant in NYC. <3

The burger itself was good although not particularly memorable. The dressing was not exactly what I was expecting in terms of texture and flavor. Prices extremely high even with a discount, although that's mostly a DoorDash gimmicky thing and 18 bucks for a burger and side is still a relatively good deal. Will order market plate next time.

Candle's food is FABULOUS. Each dish is always meticulously flavored and every item in every delivery order is so perfectly packaged to preserve for travel.
When dining at the restaurant, the staff is so attentive and caring, every meal becomes a great experience.

The Morel Mushroom Ravioli tasted good but the portions were very small compared to the price of the dish. It wasnt enough even for lunch.
