Ordered the tacos last night for the first time and they were some of the best I've had. The corn tortillas were perfection. I was worried they would be small so I ordered an order of nachos but the tacos were stuffed and very filling. Definitely recommend.

The Chicken, Cheese, Rice is one of my favorite things from Cantina's menu. Excellent flavor and a good portion! Queso is fantastic too!

My partner and I have tried a ton of things off this menu, but the Barbacoa Rice Bowl is the thing that we will continue to come back for.
The Crusted Cheese Burrito was... Truly an impressive thing, and tasty, but... Too much. Like, as a concept. If you want all the calories all at a once, it is an item that will not disappoint... or let you forget what you're doing to your body in that moment.
Their grilled meats are yummy and well done. Various other items - tacos, enchiladas, chimichanga, and more have been consistently tasty across 4 times ordering from here.
Would recommend, and will return.

Food is always great from here. The steak is tender and flavorful, food was still warm and fresh when it arrived. Portions are decent, especially for the cost. Crusted Cheese Burrito is always a favorite and I reorder the Cheese Dip quite often.

I have been waiting for a great Mexican restaurant to open up. I was spoiled living in the SF Bay Area. 9 years ago I knew coming back to Utica meant bland tragic Mexican food. I knew I just had to wait. The wait is over and the restaurant has made it past the one year mark! The food is exceptional. I can't recommend the Birra enough!
I used to take pictures of the fake Mexican food in the area to share with friends and joke about how sad it was. Thanks to whomever owns this establishment! I love the food and atmosphere! It reminds me of some great memories and the food is delicious!
The staff is always friendly. I am a transgender woman and if they treat me well then you know the service is good. Their Texas margarita is my goto summer 2026 beverage of choice.
The Barbacoa Rice Bowl is a great feast and you will have leftovers!
Do yourself a favor and experience authentic Mexican cuisine that will bring you back for more!
