Fish was crispy and good
Coleslaw was also hot.
Okra was good. Seasoned correctly and crispy
Hush puppies were crispy outsife and soft inside. So good.
Shrimp was crispy fried
Stuffed crab was to dark but ok.

I like it when they feature the Lobster --such a nice treat even if it is fake lobster, still good. My Bisque was real good, chunks of meat and good flavor - but bowl was only 1/2 filled. The bread with the Lobster rolls is soft & delicious. CapD's is one of the best places for fried catfish - great crust and tasty fish. They forgot all the sauces today.

Yum. Try the Lobster - it is pretty darn good. Bites are great. Dip them in some D's sauce. The Lobster Rolls are small, taste is good - I would like some Lemon / Butter with these, -- the bread is real good also. I like this addition and the number of ways to order Lobster Bites and Rolls with other menu items. Hope they will grow this good idea.

Try the Lobster Bisque - I think it is real good and wish they carried it on the menu year-round. I tried the Salmon tonight - it was dry. The Loaded Baked Potato was overcooked. There is hardly any Broccoli in the serving, not worth the price. The Hush Puppies are so good, greasy but good.

Usually I am very happy with the fish I get from Captain D's, today the Cajun Catfish sandwich had two small pieces, way over-fried so I didn't enjoy the Cajun flavor, and they didn't remove the dirt line from the fish before they cooked it so some bites had a dirty taste and aftertaste. The new Potato Soup is not good, too thick and had to use a fork, tasted smokey, container was half-full. Tartar and Cocktail sauces were missing. No OREO either. Just an off day I hope.
