I ordered the 4 piece 4 Piece Catfish, Butterfly Shrimp & Fries and I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor and temperature of the food was spot-on. Even something as nominal as tarter sauce was delicious. The fish was golden and flaky while the shrimps were fried perfect even though they're frozen and not fresh, they were still delicious. Nice hidden gem in Midtown.

I paid FIFTEEN DOLLARS for the wrong amount of fish and damn near 10 pieces of fries. The hushpuppies were actually good but for what you get in such a big box is NOT worth it.

This was the first order that I placed with this restaurant and it will be my last. I’ll start with the good comments that I can make first. Their drinks, Cole Slaw, cheese cake, Fried Okra, and Hushpuppies were all good. The butterfly shrimp and fried catfish were awful. If I had my eyes closed, I couldn’t even have told what I had put in my mouth. The seafood itself was tasteless and I’m not sure why (old frozen product?? I’m just trying to guess) but the catfish was so over seasoned that my catfish loving wife and mother-in-law and I only took a few bites and couldn’t stand any more. We ended up tossing all 15 pieces including the partial pieces that we sampled from. I ate all 10 of my butterfly shrimp but probably only because they didn’t taste as hideous when I had the catfish to compare them with. I didn’t enjoy eating them .In addition, we ordered and paid for 3 pieces of cheese cake and only received 2 and 12 hushpuppies and only received 6, and cocktail sauce and received none. This is not an establishment that I can recommend. There were so many things wrong that this has to be a problem starting at the top.

I was disappointed in the size of the filets. The catfish had a strong fish flavor. I've never tasted fresh catfish like that, I assumed it was raised in a fish farm . French fries and hush puppies and fish dinners had to be warmed in the air fryer. The dinner was good, but not what I've eaten before. Also, if you order cocktail sauce, you get 1 packet of Louisiana hot sauce.

I never had a problem before, but this time was terrible! We got 4 little pieces of fish and about 20 French fries. Not sure what happened, but 4 Piece Catfish & Fries didn't taste as good as usual.
