so I wasn't sure if I wanted to try this again. Cause the first time, it was nasty. But this second time, CAVA did, right!!! I made sure to take a picture again. March 29th 2025 order!

I was not actually aware it was possible for a restaurant to mess up falafel so badly. They only had 1/2 portion of it, so offered another protein for the other 1/2, but all were meat (which I don't eat) so they offered a free drink--- fine. Turns out a 1/2 portion of falafel is 2 small balls on a giant pita; 4 would not make a full portion. I didn't even finish that much though--- I've truly never had such inedible falafel. The "crispy falafel" was soggy and, even more egregious, utterly unseasoned. It somehow didn't even taste like chickpeas, just a gross wet blob. I ordered a brownie; I received a blondie--- 2" square, pre-packaged, and really not very good. I'd pay 50¢ for it from a vending machine if there were no other options. The lemonade was the only palatable thing I received. Ridiculous prices for the quality (pita) and size (blondie) plus not even getting what I ordered. Skip it, there are way better (and better priced) pita places.

My office stopped doing lunch orders here. Second try with this place on my own.
Food may be tasty. But you won’t get what you order/pay for. You’ll be charged for extras and not receive extra. Order a $25 bowl to get two small lamb meatballs, two small falafel and three pieces of potato. Charged for extra to get less than without the charge.
Forget grains amounting to anything, there’s more sauce in the bowl than substance.
Even when the receipt reads pita- you’ll receive zero pita. Doesn’t matter if you have an overwhelming order for five people, or a $65 (up charges) for one. For today’s economy, this service is a thumbs down.

Quality is fine, the falafel is always yummy. But I barely received any of my toppings for my bowl, the ones I did there was very little of. Bowl consisted of 90% rice.

Most of the food tasted fine, but the portion sizes were much smaller than usual and my Tahini Caesar had semi-raw chicken in it. I called the restaurant to let them know, and a manager said they would comp our next order if I called and said I had talked to him. Not sure if that's company policy though, it sounded a little sketchy.
