The Sigara Borek are amazing, as is the Falafel & Hummus, but really, the fresh bread is always the star of the meal. The feta börek are simple but so satisfying - salty and crispy, and the falafel are also crispy but are spiced well and have a bit of a spicy kick. Definitely order these if you want some comfort and crunch.

$16 for 3 Shrimp with Tomatoes & Feta that haven't been deveined is crazy and not worth it. Mixed Grill was good but steak was overdone. Sm Coban Salatasi was fresh and flavorful. The Cold Trio of Mezes was the star.

The Chicken Pirzola was very tasty. It had a slight lemony taste and was enough for two servings, although the accompanying salad was only enough for one. The Red Lentil Soup was slightly peppery, but not overwhelmingly so. The Kabak Corbasi Soup was a little too sweet, but I added some pepper sauce and improved it. Each dish came with Turkish bread which was very pretty, but I didn't like it because of its mushy texture.

The food is tasty, but they're very skimp on how much meat they give you in the sandwiches. We ordered the kebab (beef or lamb) sandwiches and they put maybe 3-4 small pieces on each half. It's sure to leave you hungry. $20 sandwiches and the only filler you get is primarily bread and French fries.

Food quality and preparation is high quality. Dishes required a lot of prep work and were obviously made in-house with pride and care. While Turkish food is similar to other Middle Eastern fare, the flavor profile is quite different for some items. I really liked both tomato mezze especially the one with peppers. The babaghanoush (sp?) and the stuffed grape leaves both were overpowered by the strong taste of the olive oil. The shaved meat in my sandwich was truly excellent as was the bread and fries. It is not spiced the same as a Gyro or schwarma meat it's obviously made in-house and the spices give it a fresh almost citrus tang. Very nice. The Aglayan Pasta is probably more an aqueduct taste. Its not sweet and more lightly spiced than expected. Kind of like a very lightly spiced, heavy and oily, chocolate gingerbread.
