The Classic Philly Cheese Steaks are the best around. We add mushrooms and sooo good! Never disappointed! Their onion rings are perfection. We order once a month as our take out splurge and worth every cent!

You cannot improve on perfection. Their cheesesteak is the best I have ever eaten. I am not a pepper fan usually; however, the peppers are sweet and tasty, which is a nice contrast to the richness of the cheese and steak. The cheesesteak sandwich is enormous. The steak fries are outstanding. Do yourself a favor and try the Cheese Steak shop.

The food is good, but this place definitely takes advantage of customers on the extras. We chose to do the American and Provlone combo for cheese. As far as I can tell, you get the same amount of cheese whether you pick one type or the combo, so it doesn't make sense why you get charged $3.21 to have half and half on the cheese. We also added the "extra large" portion of extra American and Provolone cheese. There definitely wasn't enough cheese on the sandwich to justify an additional $9.63. That's a rip off. The base sandwich we ordered was The Gilroy. It's supposed to have roasted garlic in it. We counted 5 pieces total throughout the large sandwich. Also, we added an extra large side of cheese sauce. 2 oz is apparently considered "extra large", and it costs $3.21 for that extra. The only thing I felt like was a great deal was the Kid's Chicken Tenders. That, and the fries were quite large. The chicken fingers were a little overcooked, but the portion was well worth the cost. We would order from here more often if they had proper pricing ranges. This is something we get maybe once a year or twice a year due to the ridiculous pricing.

I grew up on cheesesteaks in South Jersey and have been in CA for over 20 years. This was hands down, the best cheesesteak I've had since moving here. The steak and bread were perfect. The hot peppers and onions were just icing on the cake. Well done!

The Cheese Steak Shop is the best. Their steak sandwiches are amazing. The steak sandwich is beyond bountiful. The steak is tender, juicy, and absolutely free of gristle. I cannot tell you how great the steak sandwich is; you must experience it yourself. Their steak fries are perfection. I have been patronizing this restaurant for years, and I have never been disappointed. So often, when one orders takeout, the food arrives cold and disappointing. The Cheese Steak Shop spared no expense in providing the best packaging in the industry. The fries even came hot. They package their food in an insulated bag and a sealed bag to prevent anyone from sampling your order. I highly recommend the Cheese Steak Shop.
