Stumbled upon this place one night after grabbing drinks with friends and omg some of the best hangover and comfort food in Marin. Never had a bad order from here. Great portion sizes and one of the best cheese steaks I've had since leaving the East Coast.

Classic Philly is outstanding, super cheesy and delicious, I get a mix of both sweet and hot peppers, the hot ones are definitely hot so if you don't like spicy I would get them on the side or not at all. Tried their onion rings for the first time and they were really crunchy and the batter was great. Overall love this place, never disappoints

Being from the Philly area and having made thousands of proper cheesesteaks as a line cook in my youth, I can confidently say that The Cheese Steak Shop consistently makes excellent, proper cheesesteaks. This has been the only restaurant I've found utside of where I was raised that does legit steak sandwich. Love it
